Job summary

Unifi is seeking a Ramp Team Lead to marshal aircraft, load/unload baggage, and ensure safe ramp operations. You will supervise ramp personnel and coordinate with ground crews to support timely departures and arrivals.

Responsibilities include de-icing, equipment inspections, and maintaining safety standards while delivering reliable service to passengers and partners. The role requires physical fitness and rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport/state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ramp agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for arrivals, departures and towing.
• Perform wing-walker duties to protect the aircraft wing during pushback and de-ice as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material in and out of aircraft bins.
• Operate ramp equipment such as bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors and servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties as needed, including cleaning and restocking.
• Promote and adhere to Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity policies.
• Complete work safely and report hazards or incidents per policy.

Job Summary

Responsible for leading a ramp team and marshalling aircraft in and out of gate, loading, unloading and sorting baggage. Also responsible for cleaning the aircraft, restocking items, de-icing aircraft, carrying out inspections, hazard checks. Operate ramp equipment such as stairs and bridges.

Job Duties

• Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp all arriving, departing and towed aircraft.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May be assigned cabin service duties like servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabin, restocking supplies, and other items.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
