Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking teammates for a hands-on aviation ground services role in Des Moines. You will coordinate weight and balance information for pilots and ground crew, marshal aircraft on the ramp, perform inspections, handle baggage, and help load/unload cargo.

Training is provided, and flight privileges are offered after 30 days to employees and eligible family members. We offer weekly pay for hourly staff, full-time schedules starting at 30 hours per week, and benefits including

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport/state/customs.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Aufgaben

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Determine the fuel levels, weight and balance of the aircraft.
• Communicate information from and to pilots and ground team.
• Complete paperwork for flight departures/arrivals and update computer systems.
• Arrange fueling for the aircraft as needed.
• Perform ramp Agent duties such as loading/unloading baggage.
• Operate safely following company standards and procedures.
• Report safety and security incidents per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned within skill and capability.

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating critical information to pilots, agents at gate and ground crew concerning the weight and balance of the aircraft . Also responsible for marshalling the aircraft , carry ing out inspections , cleaning the aircraft , loading, unloading and sorting baggage .

Job Duties:

• Marshall all arriving, departing , and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• D etermine the fuel levels, weight and balance of the aircraft .

• Complete paperwork pertaining to procedures of flight departures , arrivals and update the computer system.
• Arrange fue l ling for the aircraft as needed.
• Perform duties of Agent - Ramp Services such as loading and un loading baggage and other material from aircraft .
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill , experience, and capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License .

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements .
