Job summary

METRO NASHVILLE AIRPORT AUTHORITY is seeking a Plumber for the 3rd shift in Nashville, TN. You will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain plumbing, irrigation, water and gas piping, and related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance and collaborating with contractors during major repairs. The role requires attention to safety, reading blueprints, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Plumbing certification or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SIDA badge.
• Experience with plumbing code compliance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain plumbing and piping systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Read blueprints and provide feedback during design and construction.
• Inspect and service fire protection systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Assist with emergency utility repairs.
