Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Airport Lounge Wait Staff to provide efficient, attentive service in the UNITED CLUB lounge. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure quality and presentation while offering knowledgeable recommendations on meals and beverages.

This role emphasizes professionalism, guest satisfaction, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with flexible days, full-time or part-time opportunities, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• May require alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM) or equivalent and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes.
• Provide recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation.
• Take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders, and process them in the correct sequence.
• Check all items for quality and presentation, ensuring that presentations are attractive and appetizing.
• Monitor guest needs, respond to requests or concerns with professionalism.

The Wait Staff will serve a variety of made-fresh-to-order entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverage items from Sodexo’s restaurant menu while exhibiting a professional, friendly, and attentive approach. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position.
