Job summary

The City of Brenham is seeking a part-time Line Service Technician at the Brenham Municipal Airport. The role supports daily airport operations, aircraft fueling, and guest services for tenants, travelers, and visitors.

Responsibilities include refueling, marshalling, customer assistance, and front desk duties, with a rotating schedule and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour for 20 hours or less per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• One year work experience as an aviation line technician preferred.
• Must obtain NATA Safety 1st certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to airport users and the public.
• Perform line service duties: marshalling, refueling, lavatory servicing, towing, trash removal.
• Fuel aircraft in accordance with ATA 103 and NFPA standards.
• Top off fuel trucks and complete fuel farm paperwork.
• Assist pilots with pre/post flight services, transportation, hotel bookings, catering, and planeside valet.
• Front desk tasks: answer phones, create invoices, receive payments, manage inventory, maintain records.
• Follow SOPs to maintain a safe work environment; report emergencies and implement safety procedures.
• Maintain general airport grounds maintenance as assigned.
