Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a Survey CAD & 3D Specialist to manage and transform complex survey and LiDAR data into accurate 3D geospatial deliverables for large-scale airport projects. The role involves collaboration with surveyors, engineers, GIS staff, and project managers using Trimble, Autodesk, Aura, and related tools.

You will develop data and models to support airport planning, design, and construction, with on-site responsibilities and opportunities to advance advanced 3D

Formación

• Level I requires high school graduation and interest in drafting, surveying, construction methods, and basic algebra knowledge.
• Level II requires 2 years drafting/survey experience and 2 years post-high school civil engineering training.

Responsabilidades

• Capture, process, and manage survey and LiDAR datasets using Trimble, Autodesk, Aura, and other platforms as needed.
• Import raw point cloud files and perform registration, classification, feature extraction, and surface modeling.
• Prepare survey, engineering, and 3D data for reports and deliverables.
• Conduct QA/QC to ensure FAA compliance and client specs.
• Develop datasets for deliverables supporting engineering and design workflows.
• Maintain coordinate systems, projections, and geospatial data standards.
• Document workflows and processing procedures.
• Collaborate with survey teams, engineers, GIS staff, and project managers.
