Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a reliable janitor/custodian to maintain clean facilities at our airport site. You will clean floors, windows, restrooms, dust, and restock supplies with safe handling of cleaning solutions.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and the ability to work on-site. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; ramp and SIDA training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Ramp and SIDA training may be required or provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Cleans windows, restrooms, dusts area and empties trashcans.
• Prepares requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Prepares cleaning solutions safely per chemical specifications.
• Lifts and carries cleaning equipment and supplies; uses power tools as needed.
• Loads supplies into vehicle and returns unused supplies to designated area.
