Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in New York is seeking entry-level cleaners to join our aviation ground services team. No experience required; paid training is provided. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and handling cleaning solutions and equipment.

You will benefit from weekly pay, full-time hours (minimum 30 hours/week), PTO, comprehensive health coverage, 401k, exclusive discounts, and after 30 days flight privileges for you and eligible family.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize windows, restrooms (toilets, sinks & mirrors), surfaces, and trim.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing or vacuuming.
• Replenishes supplies within bathrooms and inventory rooms.
• Emptying trash cans or recycle bins.
• Prepare cleaning solutions to include mixing solution in containers in a safe manner, and in accordance with chemical specifications.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays and cases of supplies to service the area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift and carry up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
