Job summary

SMS Clean is hiring for a 1st shift airport housekeeping role at Mid-America Airport. The position runs 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and is on-site at the Mascoutah, IL facility.

Duties include cleaning lighting fixtures, lobbies, rest rooms, hallways, floors, and other areas; lifting up to 50 pounds; no prior experience required; English language ability is required.

Qualifications

• Language ability: read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Math ability: basic arithmetic with money and measurements.
• Reasoning ability: simple one- or two-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, and other areas.
• Sweep, scrub, finish, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment; clean rugs and draperies.
• Wash walls, windows, and other surfaces.
