Job summary

ERMC Aviation seeks a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at MIA Airport. The role oversees daily operations, supervising agents and leads to ensure safe, efficient service for airport facilities.

You will manage shift schedules, coordinate training, and monitor safety compliance while communicating with management and handling administrative tasks. The position requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.

Responsibilities

• Supervisors team of leads and agents.
• Responsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments, employee training, vacations, breaks, overtime, back-ups, and rotations.
• Communicate with the manager concerning any problems or issues.
• Schedules and conducts shift meetings.
• Assists in payroll administration; completes shift paperwork and performs other administrative functions.
• Performs job duties of assigned shift
• Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, ERMC policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
