Job summary

The Clark County Department of Aviation seeks an Airport Environmental Services (EVS) Attendant for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, NV. You will help enhance guest experience by keeping airport and public areas clean, comfortable, and well maintained according to established procedures.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Flexibility for shifts and exposure to various conditions is required.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in EVS, custodial work or housekeeping.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust mops, scrub, strip, seal, buff and polish floors and vacuum carpets.
• Wipe and dust doors, windows, walls and furniture; polish wood/metal finishes.
• Empty and clean waste receptacles; dispose of trash in proper containers.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock supplies as needed.
• Check and replace lighting fixtures; report bulb/tube needs.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures for PPE.
• Report maintenance needs and safety hazards; assist in security as required.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; keep records of work performed.
