Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in California (San Diego) is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to manage flight crew assignments, coordinate with ground teams, and ensure timely aircraft departures. You will oversee communications, paperwork, and resource movement to support daily schedules.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and professional conduct.
• Must be an in-state resident and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification.
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensures daily assignments information is accurately communicated to all staff.
• Prepare flight paperwork for crew including flight plans and weather reports.
• Communicate aircraft fuel and load data between flight crew and fueling agents.
• Prioritize tasks and manage aircraft turnaround from arrival to departure.
• Respond to emergencies and non-emergencies to find efficient solutions.
• Ensure timely movement of resources per daily schedules and logistics.
• Record and maintain logs and reports of dispatch information.
• Perform related duties within skill and experience.

Requirements and Description

Dispatch supervisors will manage employees and dispatch applicable equipment to their arriving and departing flights, planes, and/or assignments. Supervisors will handle various airline systems and use effective communication with all flight and cabin crew to ensure the aircraft departs with all employees, passengers, baggage, and cargo.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all employees have the correct information for their daily assignments.
• Prepare flight paperwork for crew including flight plans, weather reports, passenger lists, and airline.
• Communicates aircraft fuel and load data between the flight crew and fueling agents.
• Prioritizes tasks and manages the turnaround of an aircraft from arrival to departure.
• Respond to any emergencies and non-emergencies to efficiently come to a solution.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of resources according to daily time schedules and logistics.
• Record and maintain logs and reports of dispatch information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• One+ years of relevant experience.
• Able to communicate information instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner.
• Must be a local (in-state) resident.
• Valid In-State Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
• Must be able to lift/carry / push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
