Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking organized individuals to join a growing team focused on passenger assistance and airport operations. You will be responsible for assigning wheelchair and Avtech devices to flights, maintaining equipment, and ensuring security and safety standards are met.

We offer paid training, full-time hours starting at 30 per week, and benefits including healthcare, 401k, and time off. No experience is required, and training is provided to help you succeed in a dynamic airport

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required per airport or state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assign wheelchair team members to flights and location; ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
• Distribute Avtech devices to team members for passenger tracking and research.
• Perform daily inventory of devices and report discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot devices and report out-of-service units.
• Ensure all devices are adequately charged at all times.
• Ensure time clocks are operable and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide access to the Control Room as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the skill and experience level.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assigning Passenger Assistance Agents, wheelchairs and Avtech devices to the flights or other location in the airport. Also responsible for maintaining the control room environment, timeclock, inventory records, distribution, and maintenance of Avtech devices.

Job Duties:

• Ensure that the wheelchair team members are assigned activities for safe on time arrivals and departures.
• Distribute to all team members Avtech devices for passenger tracking and research.
• Perform daily inventory of devices, ensure all devices are accounted for and report any discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot devices that are not properly functioning and report out of service devices.
• Ensure all devices are always adequately charged.
• Ensure time clocks are operable and escalates any related issues.
• Provide right of access to the Control Room.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up to 70 lbs; Frequently lift, move weights greater than 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel and bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
• Must be able to work in an office bound environment.
