Job summary

Egis, a leading international engineering and infrastructure firm, seeks a Civil Engineer to join their expanding U.S. practice in Kansas City. The role focuses on airport projects—designing runways, taxiways, lighting systems, and navigational aids—while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll prepare design reports, construction plans, and technical specs, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering; aviation-related experience and knowledge of FAA criteria a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Experience in design of general civil engineering projects including site design, sanitary wastewater, water and hydraulic evaluation a plus.

About the Role
