Job summary

Integrated Deicing Services (IDS) is seeking a General Manager to lead the Cedar Rapids station, ensuring safe, efficient deicing operations and excellent customer service. You will manage facilities, staff, and resources to meet contract goals and regulatory requirements.

The role requires extensive airline operations experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive performance while maintaining professional conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Management or related field preferred, or relevant education/experience combination.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the facility and daily operations, providing leadership and coaching to improve safety, performance, maintenance, deicing operations, facility needs and customer service.
• Verify certifications of staff and ensure completion of operational, recurrent, and Health and Safety training.
• Enforce IDS, airport authority, airline and other regulatory policies and procedures.
• Develop and update a site manpower plan to maintain adequate staffing for safe and effective operations and contract requirements.
