TKDA seeks a Construction Engineer to join our Aviation team in Bloomington, MN. You will oversee construction operations on airports across the country, collaborating with civil and electrical engineers to ensure projects meet plans, specs, and budget.

Responsibilities include attending meetings, reviewing change orders, developing proposals, estimating budgets, and conducting constructability reviews. The role requires travel up to 75%, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
• 0–5 years of progressive transportation or municipal construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and documentation.
• Ability to interpret and verify engineering specifications and plans.
• Travel up to 75% and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors on active construction sites year-round.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction operations on various projects at airports nationwide.
• Coordinate with contractors and airport representatives to review issues and ensure quality.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings and prepare status reports.
• Develop proposals, estimate budgets, and conduct constructability reviews.
