Job summary

Southeast Airport Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Janitor/Cleaner to join our airport operations team at Orlando International Airport. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and safety throughout airport facilities to ensure a positive experience for passengers, tenants and staff.

Work assignments may be indoors or outdoors depending on operational needs. The position requires reliability, ability to follow safety procedures, and flexibility to work early mornings,

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand basic English for safety and work instructions.
• Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position due to operational airport staffing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of terminals, waiting areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, elevator buttons, counters, and seating.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove debris from floors, stairwells, escalators, elevators, and sidewalks.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Operate janitorial equipment including mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Report maintenance, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.
• Provide courteous assistance to airport passengers when approached.
• Follow all company, airport, OSHA, and sanitation safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Janitorial Supervisor or Operations Manager
