Job summary

National Aviation Services is seeking dedicated Building Maintenance Cleaners to perform airport janitorial duties at Kansas City International Airport (MCI). You will clean offices, lounges, restrooms, and common areas under the direction of the Station Manager.

This role requires safety awareness, the ability to work weekends/holidays, and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations. FAA background checks and airport badges may be required.

Qualifications

• Must secure airport badges and FAA SIDA clearance if applicable.
• Able to work weekends and holidays and to work overtime on short notice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license as required by airport authority.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and trim.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, mops, dry mops and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork; cleans windows and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays; transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies; replaces light bulbs.
• Cleans/wipes break room appliances.
• Other duties may be assigned.
