Job summary

Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. is seeking a CAD Engineering Technician to support project phases from planning through construction. You will prepare CAD drawings and exhibits, follow CAD standards, and work with Civil 3D data under guidance.

Willingness to travel for onboarding and training is required. Ideal candidates bring AutoCAD proficiency (2018+), familiarity with Autodesk tools, and an interest in airport/road/site design processes.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD 2018 or later, or equivalent.
• Civil 3D experience would be great, but not required.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk tools (or equivalent) in an engineer drawing / plan production environment.
• Experience in a civil engineering firm is a plus, but transferable skills welcome.
• Familiarity with airport/road/site design and survey is preferred but not required.
• Must travel for onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide various aspects of support for projects in the planning, design, bidding, and construction phases.
• Prepare CAD drawings and exhibits for projects.
• Learn and follow company CAD standards.
• Work with design data (by others) in Civil 3D.
• Coordinate printing and preparation of product deliverables.
