Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a skilled Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Technician to maintain and repair boarding bridges used in airport operations in St. Louis, MO. This role requires experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, and HVAC experience is a plus.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and ensure safe, reliable operation while coordinating with airport operations and other technical teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Airport/industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on passenger boarding bridges.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage components.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to bridge movement and alignment.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems within boarding bridges.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Collaborate with airport operations and other technical teams to ensure reliability.
