Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Technician in Houston, TX. The role requires working with high- and low-voltage electrical systems and HVAC-related tasks to keep boarding bridges safe and reliable.

You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and coordinate with airport operations to minimize downtime and ensure passenger flow. A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in shifts are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with high- and low-voltage electrical systems required.
  • HVAC experience is a plus; ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on passenger boarding bridges.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage components.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to bridge movement and alignment.
  • Maintain and service HVAC systems within boarding bridges (experience preferred).
  • Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed and logs are kept accurate.
  • Respond to service requests and emergencies; coordinate with operations teams.
  • Maintain documentation and work with security-compliant processes.
  • Collaborate with airport operations to ensure reliability.
