Job summary

Envoy Air Inc in Nashville, TN is hiring a Ramp Agent. No experience required and on-the-job training is provided. Pay rate is $18.50/hr, with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

As a Ramp Agent you will load, unload and sort freight, bag and mail, and operate on the tarmac in all weather. The role offers overtime potential and a benefits package including health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner and support on-time departures and arrivals.
• Lift luggage throughout shift and stay physically active.
• Work outside in all weather conditions on the tarmac and in company vehicles.
• Shifts may vary, include irregular and extended hours, weekends and holidays.

What you will be doing!

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals.
• No need for a gym membership as you will be getting your workout in by lifting luggage throughout your shift.
• Ability to cruise on the tarmac in our company vehicles while getting the bags to their destination.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver’s license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required;some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
