Job summary

Atwork is seeking a production/maintenance-oriented operator to support a full-service surface finishing operation serving aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries in Seattle, WA. You will select rack procedures, wire or clip parts to racks, and perform final checks to ensure processing accuracy.

The role requires a High School Diploma, the ability to pass a drug test and background check, and a willingness to work safely with PPE in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
• Production or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select an appropriate racking procedure according to the size, shape, and number of objects to be processed.
• Wire or clip objects to the rack or hoist for processing.
• Unracking parts, performing quality checks, and verifying completion with precision and attention to details.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and apply them in the work environment.
• Wire or clip objects to the rack or hoist for processing.
• Remove parts from the rack or bar after processing.
• Completes paperwork as required by the company and processing guidelines.
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.
• Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash or wires.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
