Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for Airplane Electronic Engineers (Associate) to join the 787 Electronic Systems (Avionics, Integrated Modular Avionics, Network Systems, & Electrical Subsystems) team located in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Position Responsibilities
  • Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
  • Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
  • Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 1 or more years’ experience with airplane systems.
