Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers needing wheelchair assistance at the client site in Fort Myers, FL. This role is highly customer-service oriented, and tipping is customary for exceptional service.

Responsibilities include safe transport of passengers in wheelchairs from retrieval to destination, assisting with baggage if needed, coordinating with dispatchers, and completing incident reports.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Preferred: One (1) year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary
• Complete thorough Incident Reports
