Job summary

gategroup is seeking an Equipment Setup employee in New York to assemble beverages, ice, condiments, and non-food items for airline service. You will follow procedures and diagrams to assemble equipment and prepare carts in line with airline specifications.

The role requires reading and writing for forms, basic communication with supervisors and co-workers, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Regular weekends or holidays may be required, and overtime could be available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Language / Communication Skills: Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assembles equipment according to airline specifications following procedures and assembly diagrams
• Sorts, wraps, and packs airline dry goods, liquor, and equipment into airline carts according to airline specifications
• Keeps production areas in compliance with sanitation standards and customer requirements
• Documents inventory in compliance with company requirements
• Follows directions
• Works as a member of a team
• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management
