Job summary

Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Catering/Commissary Driver to prepare and deliver products to aircraft and retrieve spent carts. You’ll work closely with the catering team to ensure smooth turnover of planes while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires driving skills, teamwork, and strong communication. You will service both domestic and international flights, with emphasis on safety and a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a valid driver's license and pass a continuous driving records check.
• Must be able to obtain MSP SIDA badge with a CBP Seal.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment while taking ownership of assigned catering carts and deliveries independently.
• Proficiently drive lift trucks; operate the catering truck to the aircraft and load/unload carts.
• Deliver, remove, and clear aircraft of carts, food, beverages, and supplies between the catering truck and aircraft.
• Perform safety inspections of assigned items at the start and end of the shift.
• Coordinate with the manager and catering team to turn planes around efficiently.
• Prepare soda and beverage carts and assist with Personal Supply Kits.
• Service international and domestic charter and scheduled flights.
• Relay information to supervisor on interruptions and work on solutions.
• Put delivered supplies in appropriate area
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace
• Other duties as assigned
