City of Scottsdale is seeking an Airport Operations Technician to help maintain a secure and efficient airfield. You will inspect facilities, support maintenance, emergency, and security functions, and serve a diverse aviation community, including travelers, tenants, and partners.

The role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation. Anticipated starting salary may be up to the mid-point, with full range listed above and mid-point noted at $28.16/hour.

Qualifications

• Six months of airport operations experience and/or aviation training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect airport facility conditions to ensure safe, efficient airport operations.
• Ensure maintenance, emergency, and security functions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Work night, weekend, and holiday shifts due to 24/7 airport operations.
