Midwest Air Traffic Control Services Inc. seeks an Airfield Manager / Assistant Airfield Manager to oversee the total operation of the airfield, including buildings, runways, airspace and grounds.

You will apply knowledge of aircraft types and requirements to ensure safe and efficient operations. You will conduct long-range planning, coordinate with maintenance teams, monitor NOTAMS, and provide briefings to crews on airfield operations and restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total operation of the airfield including buildings, runways, airspace and grounds.
• Conduct airfield inspections and ensure proper maintenance and upgrading of facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance, snow removal, lighting, and refueling support.
• Process flight plans, provide flight following services and advise on airfield restrictions.
• Deliver briefings to base and transient aircrews on airfield operations and restrictions.
