Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Training Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by managing training records, readiness tracking, and class/exam coordination. You will maintain GTIMS/ARMS data, schedule trainings, and generate reports to support aircrew qualification progression and mission continuity.

The role requires collaborating with HARM/SARM personnel, updating grade books, and ensuring compliance with AFMAN guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, training, education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a flying squadron, training office, HARM/SARM, aviation resource management, or comparable aviation operations support environment.
• Experience using GTIMS, ARMS, or equivalent training/readiness systems.
• Experience maintaining gradebooks, records, training status, or readiness reporting.
• Ability to manage recurring reports and suspense-driven requirements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with squadron leadership, scheduling, and external agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database-driven reporting tool.

Responsibilities

• Update data in GTIMS or future systems and local databases as required.
• Interface with HARM/SARM personnel to update ARMS as required.
• Build, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders, and grade books per AFMANs.
• Coordinate class and exam schedules with internal and external agencies.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly gradebook checks.
• Coordinate with scheduling to maximize training opportunities per AFIs.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrade/continuation training and weekly summaries.
• Assist in developing new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate reports and forms such as OST Training inputs, AF Form 2096, NMR letters, STRP briefings, and training plans.

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Training Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by managing training records, readiness tracking, training schedules, class and exam coordination, and recurring squadron training reporting. This role supports non-flying squadron functions that are essential to aircrew readiness, qualification progression, and mission continuity.

Responsibilities

• Update data in Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or future equivalent systems to GTIMS, andlocally developedcomputer database systems asrequired.
• Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) and Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems to ARMS asrequired.
• Build, review, and update student/permanent party records,foldersand grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions (AFMAN11-202V1 and AFMAN11-2MDSV1), associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, andlocally developedguidance.Number of records will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
• Coordinate schedule of classes and exams asrequired. Coordinate with scheduling and external agencies (SFS/CATM, CES/Emergency Management, OSS, etc.) to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for Crew Resource Management, Instructor Crew Resource Management, Instrument Refresher Course, and any other grounding or pre-deployment training requirements.Number of classes/exams will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
• Perform individual gradebook checks of squadron personnel training and ancillary training requirements. Gradebook checks are performed daily, monthly, and quarterly.
• In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, coordinate with scheduling office, enabling them to maximize training opportunities IAW unit leadership guidance. Scheduling and training will be consistent with AFIs.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent) as well as weekly summaries for the Operations Officer.
• Under the guidance and direction of the Squadron DOT Flight Chief,assistin the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate the following reports/forms asrequired:
  • Monthly and quarterly inputs to OST Training each quarter
  • AF Form 2096, Classification/On-the-Job Training Action
  • Monthly and semi-annualNon-Mission Ready (NMR)letter for members to be placed in NMR status IAWAFMAN11-2MDS-V1
  • Monthly Squadron Training Review Panel (STRP) briefings the Squadron leadership to include training recommendations and status of training on unitmembers.
  • 6 Month Training Plan Brief(A003).Prepare the 6 Month Training Plan IAW AFMAN11-202V1 and applicable AFMAN11-2MDS-V1, associated MAJCOM supplements, and local policy and procedures.
  • MonthlyAircrew Probation / Regression Report(A004).Prepare the 6 Month Training Plan IAW AFMAN11-202V1 and applicable AFMAN11-2MDS-V1, associated MAJCOM supplements, and local policy and procedures.
  • Semi-annual Proration Consideration Report(A005), as designated.Prepare the 6 Month Training Plan IAW AFMAN11-202V1 and applicable AFMAN11-2MDS-V1, associated MAJCOM supplements, and local policy and procedures.
