  • Coordinate with senior squadron leadership on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Coordinate with simulator contractors as required for simulator events.
  • Track crewmember leave, temporary duty, scheduled medical appointments or other scheduling commitments.
  • Track daily flight/ground/academic training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurate flight scheduling in support of the operations officer. To the maximum possible, schedule aircrew based on experience to mitigate Operational Risk Management (ORM) as detailed in AMCI 90-903, Aviation ORM Program. Schedule IAW guidance as outlined by Stan/Eval in conjunction with applicable aircraft manuals, appropriate supplements, and the Go-No/Go Process Guide.
  • Facilitate last-minute schedule changes to ensure full coverage by working with the current mission commander/operations supervisor (or equivalent) and flight responsible for the shift that is not fully manned.
  • Publish/post scheduling data for unit long-/short-range ground/academic, flying, and simulator training event schedules on computer database systems.
  • Comply with Ops Group and Wing Current Operations (OSO) and Group Training (OST) locally developed guidance when building the schedule.
  • Perform daily updates of scheduling data to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates.
  • Coordinate with OSO, OST, outside agencies/exercise participants and higher headquarters, for example: RED FLAG, GREEN FLAG, Mobility Guardian, Weapons School support, for reporting and to facilitate exercise and special event schedules.
  • Provide inputs to Wing Scheduling/Current Operations through attendance at weekly meetings for schedule coordination and de-confliction.
  • Produce Flight Authorizations which have cleared the Group Stan/Eval Go-No/Go process.
  • Update Load Tracker for the next week’s schedule according to schedule dictated by squadron.
  • Produce weekly Flying Effectiveness Report (A001). The Flying Effectiveness Report shall be developed and produced IAW local policy and procedures and reflect accomplishment of required training events as determined by local leadership.

  • Provide Squadron Assigned Security Manager with a weekly list of DISS requirements to generate DISS letters as required for training missions.
