Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an experienced 2W0 (7‑Level) professional with bomber munitions and loading expertise to support munitions logistics, facility oversight, and weapon system sustainment on AFGSC aircraft. This on-site role is based at Barksdale AFB, LA.

You will bridge program offices and flight line operations, ensuring new systems are safe and maintainable for long-term operations. Requires DoD experience, extensive munitions background, and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience in munitions or related field.
• Fully qualified Munitions Craftsman (7‑level) with 10+ years of Munitions Systems experience.
• Experience with DoD directives and explosive safety standards.
• Experience in munitions logistics and FIAR‑compliant systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain SCI/SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintainer advocacy during program reviews and IPTs.
• Analyze new weapon system designs for maintainability and loading procedures.
• Support lifecycle integration events including aircraft fit checks and equipment validation.
• Review training plans and technical orders for accuracy and safety compliance.
• Serve as liaison between AFGSC, weapon/aircraft SPOs, and AFOTEC on sustainment matters.
• Brief senior leadership on readiness, risks, and assessments.
