Job summary

Jetvia is seeking a qualified Aircraft Technician to perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing and repairs on our fleet in accordance with manufacturer manuals, FAA data, and Jetvia procedures. The role emphasizes safe operation, airworthiness, and a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P certificate, meets FAR Part 65.83 requirements with 6+ years of experience, and can work flexible shifts, including travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83 with at least 6 years of experience or more.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiar with parameters and standards established in FAR Parts 135 and 145.
  • Familiar with basic inventory management functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously with others.
  • Familiar with computer data entry, and Microsoft Windows based programs.
  • Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
  • Able to work flexible schedule including day and night shifts.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
  • Own a full tool set.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer's manuals and FAA accepted or approved data.
  • Adhere to all applicable FARs and Company policies and procedures.
  • Interpret aircraft technical manuals, and electrical drawings.
  • Responsible for movement of aircraft in hangar and on ramp, including operation of tow-tractor.
  • Maintain work area in a neat, clean and safe condition always.
  • Perform only those tasks for which proper training and qualification has been obtained.
  • Participate, collaborate and facilitate weekly meetings to review maintenance projects progress, resolve issues related to phase inspection, service and repair to report to Director of Maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Technician is responsible for performing safe, efficient, and high-quality aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer manuals, FAA-approved data, applicable regulations, and Jetvia’s maintenance procedures. This role supports the reliability and airworthiness of Jetvia’s fleet while maintaining a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer's manuals and FAA accepted or approved data
  • Adhere to all applicable FARs and Company policies and procedures outlined in the General Procedures Manual (GPM) and the Company's, FAA Approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
  • Interpret aircraft technical manuals, and electrical drawings
  • Responsible for movement of aircraft in hangar and on ramp, including operation of tow-tractor
  • Maintain work area in a neat, clean and safe condition always
  • Perform only those tasks for which proper training and qualification has been obtained

Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid U.S driver’s license
  • Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83 with at least 6 years of experience or more
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with parameters and standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations, Parts 135 and 145
  • Familiar with basic inventory management functions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously with others
  • Familiar with computer data entry, and Microsoft Windows based programs
  • Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
  • Able to work flexible schedule to include day and night shifts
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Own a full tool set
Preferred
  • Experience with Learjet series Airframe and Pratt Whitney305A Engines (prefer Lear 60)
Location:

Able to reliably commute or relocate to Titusville, FL or El Paso, TX.

AS OF OCTOBER 1ST 2026 NEW COMPENSATION & HOME BASING OPTIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE & TRAVEL PROGRAM

El Paso or Titusville resident: Choose a Monday-Friday schedule or an approved rotating schedule and receive an additional $5.00 per hour.

Home based elsewhere: 8 on/6 off rotating schedule. Jetvia provides airline transportation to and from assigned maintenance locations through the designated home-base airport network.

Travel support: When traveling on an authorized assignment, Jetvia covers required airline transportation and hotel accommodations and provides up to $60 per day for meals on the company card, subject to company policy.

Travel time: Authorized travel time is recorded and paid in accordance with Jetvia timekeeping and travel policies.
