Job summary

A leading aircraft manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Aircraft Level - System Test Engineer to evaluate and validate complex aircraft subsystems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in aircraft systems and a strong background in developing and executing test plans. This position offers a competitive salary, personal time off, and a 9/80 work schedule allowing for alternating Fridays off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in developing and executing aircraft system test plans.
• Ability to gain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
• Advanced degrees are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute aircraft level test plans.
• Manage hardware and software installation in the SIL.
• Lead aircraft test readiness activities.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop systems.
• Work in teams to define and solve problems.

Skills

Knowledge of aircraft systems

Experience in SIL environment

Technical discussion leadership

Knowledge of communication standards

Experience with Functional Test Procedures

Experience in configuration management

Understanding of certification processes

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering
