Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL, is seeking an Aircraft Systems Installation Mechanic to join the Manufacturing Department.

The role focuses on installing systems for the Final Assembly Line and ensuring components are prepared, fitted, and tested to exact specifications. You will work on VTP and HTP installation, hydraulic lines, air conditioning and fuel systems, plus MLG/Tank/Gauging tests, with a minimum of 2 years in aviation production.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent required.
• High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/work place/aircraft parking space.
• Installation and manufacture: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure mechanical components and parts.
• Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications.
• Check system functions.
• Specialized in one Area mentioned below: VTP and HTP installation, Hydraulic lines installation; Belly fairing and Flap installation; Air conditioning and Fuel system; MLG & Tank Test; Gauging Test.

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an Aircraft Systems Installation Mechanic to join our Manufacturing Department based in Mobile, AL.

The Aircraft Systems Installation Mechanic is responsible for the systems installation of the aircraft for the Final Assembly Line.
