About the Role

Our client, a well-established aviation maintenance and repair organization operating near East London , is actively seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker . This role is fundamental to maintaining the structural integrity of aircraft by fabricating, fitting, and repairing sheet metal components. You will work with various metals and alloys, utilizing precision tools and techniques to ensure repairs meet stringent aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, form, and fit sheet metal components for aircraft structures using blueprints and specifications.
• Repair damaged or worn sheet metal parts, including patching, riveting, and seam sealing.
• Read and interpret aircraft structural repair manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Select appropriate materials and tools for specific repair and fabrication tasks.
• Perform inspections of finished work to ensure quality and compliance with aerospace standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety regulations.
