Job summary

Jet Excellence in Raleigh, NC seeks an inspector to ensure aircraft return-to-service compliance and maintain accurate maintenance records. You will review unscheduled and scheduled events, support the Maintenance Control & Quality teams, and help keep documentation complete and retrievable to safeguard safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA Mechanic Certificate (airframe & powerplant), demonstrate auditing and root-cause analysis skills, and can travel about 15% for inspections.

Qualifications

• Auditing, risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and human factors training are required.
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Validate compliance for aircraft return-to-service.
• Update and maintain maintenance tracking databases.
• Assist Maintenance Control & Quality with reviews and audits.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, retrievable, and complete.
• Support safety, reliability, and economy through audits and reviews.
• Travel approximately 15% as needed.
