Job summary

Jobtailor in Phoenix seeks a dedicated Ground Service Technician to support airport cargo operations. You will marshal aircraft, load/unload cargo, and operate belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts to move items between terminals and aircraft.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and fluent English. You’ll work in a safety-focused environment with a team of colleagues and aviation partners.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
• Load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft.
• Safely drive and operate ground support equipment to pick up and deliver cargo between the terminal, warehouse, and aircraft.
• Sort and load baggage.
• Perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power, ground start units, and water service.
• Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking, and related guide man functions.
• Maintain a secure work environment.
