Survival Products is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector II to perform in-process and final inspections on aircraft components, ensuring airworthiness per FAA Part 145 and OEM data. You will interpret technical drawings, document defects, assist root cause analysis, mentor Level I inspectors, and collaborate with Production to prioritize inspections.

• 3–5 years of aircraft inspection experience in Part 145 or similar environment.
• FAA A&P or Repairman certificate.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and interpreting technical data.
• Strong written and verbal communication and defect documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-process and final inspections on aircraft components and customer articles.
• Verify configuration, workmanship, and airworthiness per FAA Part 145 and OEM data.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and service documents with minimal supervision.
• Identify defects and documentation of nonconformities and configuration discrepancies.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review work orders and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Support audits by providing records and inspection evidence.
• Use precision measuring tools to validate tolerances.
• Escalate safety-critical issues to Level III inspectors or Chief Inspector.
• Provide guidance to Level I inspectors.
• Collaborate with Production and Planning on inspection priorities.
