A leading aviation project management firm is seeking an Aircraft Integrated Project Manager to oversee aircraft modification programs from start to finish. In this hybrid role, you will ensure high-performing, compliant aircraft by managing project schedules, budgets, and external vendors, requiring over 5 years of relevant experience, especially with Bombardier and Textron platforms. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields and is proficient in Microsoft Project.

Summary

As our Aircraft Integrated Project Manager, you are the bridge between complex engineering and operational reality. You won't just track tasks; you will drive the end-to-end evolution of aircraft modification programs. From drafting the initial Statement of Work to overseeing final delivery, your goal is to ensure our airborne assets are high-performing, compliant, and delivered with precision.

Your Impact

• Program Ownership: Lead aircraft modification and integration projects from concept to completion, ensuring every asset meets mission-ready standards.
• Production & Compliance: Partner with the Production team during modification phases to maintain strict engineering configuration control and Part 21 regulatory compliance.
• Operational Testing: Orchestrate ground and flight testing phases to validate mission systems and certification requirements.
• Strategic Documentation: Author the blueprints of success, including technical specifications, SOWs, and purchase orders.
• Financial & Timeline Stewardship: Build and manage rigorous project schedules and budgets, providing transparent forecasting and "estimate vs. actual" tracking.
• Supplier Synergy: Directly manage external vendors and technical service providers to ensure quality and seamless integration.
• Process Innovation: Design and implement new tools and workflows to sharpen the organization’s productivity and quality benchmarks.

The Toolkit You Bring

• Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience specialized in mission-specific aircraft, with a strong preference for Bombardier and Textron platforms.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation/Project Management, IT, or Business Administration.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Industry Standards: Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (AS9100), project management principles, and aviation safety protocols.
• Certifications: MS Project certification (preferred n it required).
