Job summary

AAA USA Inc. is seeking skilled aircraft painters to prepare, prime, paint, and finish aerospace components. The role requires aerospace painting experience, blueprints reading, color accuracy, and willingness to travel or relocate to Little Rock, AR or Kinston, NC.

Overtime opportunities and relocation assistance are available. Candidates must be able to read engineering drawings, work on elevated platforms, and maintain paint booths and spray equipment while adhering to safety and aerospace

Qualifications

  • Aircraft painting or aerospace painting experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and work instructions.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, shades and surface finishes with high accuracy.
  • Experience operating spray equipment and applying primers, coatings and finishes.
  • Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare aircraft parts and assemblies for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking and prep.
  • Mix primers, sealants and topcoats per specifications.
  • Apply primers, coatings and finishes using spray equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings and planning documents.
  • Inspect coatings for thickness and quality; perform touch-ups and repairs.
  • Maintain paint booths, spray guns and related equipment.
  • Handle paints and solvents following safety and environmental rules.
  • Support production schedules while meeting safety and aerospace quality standards.

Must be willing to travel/temporarily relocate to Little Rock, AR or Kinston, NC.

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare aircraft parts and assemblies for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation.
  • Mix primers, sealants, and topcoats according to engineering specifications and manufacturer requirements.
  • Apply primers, coatings, and finish paints using conventional and specialized spray equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and planning documents.
  • Match paint colors and finishes to required specifications while ensuring coating consistency and quality.
  • Perform paint touch-ups, rework, and repairs as required.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment to verify coating thickness and quality standards.
  • Maintain paint booths, spray guns, and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Handle and dispose of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Support production schedules while maintaining compliance with safety, OSHA, customer, and aerospace quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Aircraft painting or aerospace painting experience required.
  • Experience operating industrial spray guns and paint application equipment.
  • Ability to prepare, mask, prime, and paint aircraft structures and components.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, shades, and surface finishes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work from elevated platforms, lifts, scaffolding, and ladders.
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
