Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft, automotive, or industrial painting.
• Proficiency with spray equipment and surface preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of paint mixing, application, and finishing methods.
• Familiarity with safety protocols including proper use of PPE, ventilation requirements, and hazardous materials handling.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of finish.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to aircraft exteriors and interior components using spray equipment and other application methods.
• Mix, match, and blend paints and coatings to specification.
• Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and compliance with drawings and customer requirements.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards.
• Document work performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain spray equipment and paint shop in clean, safe working order.
