As an Aircraft Mechanic II (Power Plants) you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aircraft systems including engines, avionics, hydraulics, armament, landing gear, and more. You will ensure aircraft readiness, perform inspections and repairs, and manage other mechanics to complete tasks on time.
The position requires lifting up to 50 lb. Workers must use computers for documentation and possess strong English verbal and written communication. Tasks include visual inspection, use of ladders, standing for long periods, working in extreme weather, and use of protective equipment. All shifts may be required; work hours are flexible to accommodate flight schedules. Safety hazards such as head, hand, hearing, eye, slip and trip hazards must be mitigated.
