Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking a qualified MV-22 maintenance technician in Jacksonville, NC to perform ACM II avionics duties and support O/I/D level maintenance at MCAS.

Applicants must have 4+ years in T/M/S maintenance, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. The role requires NALCOMIS OOMA familiarity, MEPP certification, and US citizenship; drug-free workplace applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Minimum of four years of T/M/S maintenance experience.
• CDI qualification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Familiar with MV-22 publications and equipment.
• Familiar with NALCOMIS OOMA within 90 days.
• Must obtain APU; BFWS; Brake Rider; Egress within 90 days.
• MEPP and NC-10 MEPP certifications or equivalent.
• MATMEP Level III / TR 3000 or higher for MV-22.
• Preferred: towing, ground support vehicles, etc.
• US Citizen and able to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Drug-free workplace; post-offer drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform ACM II Avionics duties.
• Support O/I/D-Level maintenance with documentation and troubleshooting.
• Inspections, corrosion prevention, servicing, lubricating and component replacement.
• Other duties as assigned.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT MODIFICATION

General Description

• Perform Organizational and Intermediate, level maintenance on MV-22 aircraft onboard Marine Corps Air Station

DUTIES

• Perform ACM II Avionics duties


• Support O/I/D-Level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, corrosion prevention/treatment, servicing, lubricating, adjusting and the removal and replacement of aeronautical components.


• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Minimum of six (4) years of aviation maintenance experience


• Minimum of four (2) years of T/M/S maintenance experience


• CDI qualification or ability to obtain qualification required within 6 months of employment


• Familiar with all publications relevant to the maintenance of the MV-22 appropriate to the assignment and have a thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of the equipment/systems.


• Possess a thorough understanding or become familiar and proficient with NALCOMIS OOMA automated maintenance documentation system within 90 days of employment.


• Must have the following certifications or qualifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days from employment: Auxiliary Power Unit (APU); Blade Fold Wing Stow (BFWS); Brake Rider; Egress Certified


• Qualified and/or certified in the following: A/M32A-108 Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP); NC-10 A/B/C Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP)


• MATMEP Level III / T &R level 3000 (applicable systems) or greater for MV-22, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.


• Preferred additional qualifications: Towing; A/M42-2A Light Cart; A/S32A-45 Tow Tractor; BT-400-46 Pre-Heater (or Equivalent); Flight Line Utility Vehicles.


• Must be a US Citizen


• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
