Job summary

The Missouri National Guard is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic for MO AVCRAD in Springfield, tasked with advanced maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and certification of aircraft and components. Requires two years of Aircraft Mechanic experience or four years in technical aircraft maintenance, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Ability to lift heavy parts, work with PPE, and pursue Tl clearance is required; benefits include pension and substantial leave.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic and possession of a high school diploma or a GED certificate OR four (4) years of technical experience in the specialized maintenance and repair of aircraft components and equipment, two of which must have been specialized aircraft maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced aircraft maintenance including inspections, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair.
• Inspect, repair, and certify work of others at MO-AVCRAD.
• Conduct ground tests and in-flight system checks; assist with procurement and inventory of parts and tools.
