Job summary

STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Aircraft Mechanics in Moline, Illinois. This hands-on role involves inspecting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining airframe and engine systems to keep aircraft safe and airworthy.

You will work on a team to perform complex servicing and repairs, troubleshoot using manufacturer data, and prepare required maintenance documentation in accordance with FAA rules and Elliott Aviation policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements.
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
• Must obtain and retain Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue stamp).
• Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, adjust, repair, and maintain airframe and engine systems to ensure airworthiness.
• Troubleshoot and function test using manufacturer data across multiple aircraft systems.
• Lead aircraft projects as directed by Crew Chief and Supervisor.
• Prepare maintenance and modification documentation per FAA regulations and company manuals.
• Locate and use technical data to accomplish tasks efficiently and correctly.
• Support compliance with Federal, OSHA, state and local regulations.

STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Aircraft Mechanics in Moline, Illinois. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining airframe and engine systems to keep aircraft safe and airworthy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs of a complex nature on various aircraft systems and components
• Troubleshoot and function test using manufacturer’s technical documents across multiple airframe, engine, and component systems
• Lead aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor
• Prepare and complete required maintenance and modification documentation in accordance with FAA Airworthiness Regulations, Elliott Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and OJT logs
• Locate and use appropriate technical data to accomplish tasks efficiently and correctly
• Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State, and local regulations as well as Elliott Aviation’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications
