Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Aircraft Mechanic located in Metro Jacksonville. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for performing heavy maintenance, repair, and overhaul on commercial aircraft. Daily tasks include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft components including structures, powerplants, and systems. The role requires adherence to FAA standards and regulations, maintaining accurate logs and records of maintenance performed, and collaborating with a team to ensure aircraft are safe and airworthy.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Aircraft Structures and Aircraft Maintenance
  • Competency in PowerPlant and Aircraft Systems
  • Experience with various types of Aircraft including Airbus and Boeing
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Physical ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and perform tasks in various working conditions
