Join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and play a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of piston engines used in general aviation. We are seeking an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in piston engine assembly, a commitment to quality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, assemble, and perform maintenance on piston engines in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
• Complete maintenance records, forms, and required documentation accurately and consistently.
• Follow all company policies and environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Safely operate machinery, forklifts, and other equipment as required.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 85 pounds, standing, stooping, kneeling, and walking.
• Work effectively in changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
• Maintain a full-time Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in piston engine assembly.
• Extensive experience with Textron Lycoming and Continental Motors engines.
• Long-term experience with the same employer is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and applicable manufacturer overhaul and parts manuals.
• Must have the tools required to perform the job.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Strong customer service and service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and Drug and Alcohol test.
