Job Summary:

The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft systems to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring that all work adheres to FAA regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Aircraft Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, avionics, and other components.

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Inspections:

Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft and components in accordance with FAA standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Certify that completed maintenance meets airworthiness requirements.

Documentation and Compliance:

Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.

Adhere to all FAA regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other mechanics, technicians, and engineers to resolve technical issues.

Communicate with flight crews and maintenance supervisors to ensure aircraft are safe for operation.

Tool and Equipment Management:

Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.

Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, tools, and repair techniques.

Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and maintenance software.

Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Citation, King Air, Pilatus, Hawker, and any General Aviation aircraft.

Additional certifications (e.g., Inspection Authorization, Avionics).

Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to [50-70] pounds.

Work in confined spaces and elevated areas.

Stand, bend, kneel, and work at heights for extended periods.

Work in varying weather conditions and environments.

Work Schedule:

M-F 8:30AM - 5PM
