GP Strategies Corporation seeks an onsite Structures Aircraft/Aviation Workplace Coach in St. Louis, MO to support a major aerospace client. This full-time, benefitted role requires lean coaching on the shop floor and readiness to implement improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The position emphasizes assessments, data interpretation, and collaboration with teams to elevate performance and ensure conformance to standards. First shift, on-site only.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience with assembly and structures manufacturing.
• Experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation.

GP Strategies Government Solutions has an opening for an onsite Structures Aircraft/Aviation Workplace Coach to support a large aerospace client in Berkeley, MO. This position is a full-time, benefitted, onsite position. The schedule is 1st shift.

Minimum Education Required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)

• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Experience with assembly and structures manufacturing
• Experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation
• Completed a blueprint reading class preferred
• Experience with aircraft unique tools such as support equipment/test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators
• Experience reading and interpreting technical data

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Fingering (typing), communicating, repetitive motions.
• Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting.
• Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements.
